3 ways to use the law of attraction in your marketing
Over the past couple of years in business, I’ve learned a ton about the law of attraction and lately I have started integrating it into my marketing.
In case the law of attraction is new for you, here’s a very simple way to explain it: like attracts like. Basically, we attract into our lives what we focus on. If we continually focus on how we hate our job, or the lack of clients we have – this will continue to be reflected in our lives as our subconscious fears are influencing the vibrations we send out into the world.
So how we can we use the law of attraction in our marketing to attract the clients we want? Here are the top 3 ways I’ve discovered:
1. Be SUPER clear on what you want
There’s always a goal with our marketing – maybe it’s to have a certain amount of people sign up for our program, download our freebie, or get on a call with us. But if we aren’t super clear about what we actually want and we aren’t focusing on that – it becomes difficult to attract. So to use the law of attraction, figure out a clear goal and when you want to achieve it by and spend some time visualizing exactly what it looks like when you’ve achieved this goal. Use all five senses and imagine exactly how it will feel when you’ve hit this goal and how it will change your life. Then spend time reviewing this vision regularly. Remember – you attract what you focus on.
At this point, there may be a lot of doubts and fears that come up. Rather than ignoring them and trying to pretend they don’t exist (which I’ve made the mistake of doing in the past), it’s important to really address them. Maybe there’s a part of you that subconsciously doubts that you’ll ever be able to achieve the goal you want, which will make it really difficult to actually achieve it. It’s important to address this, acknowledge your fears and understand where they came from, but also approach them with love, compassion and gratitude for trying to keep you safe in your comfort zone.
2. Understand who you want to attract
Having a clear understanding of who you want to work with is one of the most critical steps in building your brand and marketing strategy. It isn’t enough to say you want to work with entrepreneurs – you need to really understand them and you need to be super specific on the type of person you want to work with. So beyond just listing off their age range, location, industry, think about where they’re at in their business and life. Think about their struggles and their desires and visualize how it will feel to work with and help them. The clearer you are on exactly WHO you want to attract, the easier it will be to develop marketing content that will really speak to them and where they’re at in their life and business, and ultimately lead them to work with you.
3. Become who you want to attract
Now that you’ve visualized exactly who you want to work with – perhaps it’s the proactive boss babe who wants to build a thriving business – become this person. This will help you understand them on a deeper emotional level and create the perfect solution to the problem she’s having in her business. Remember, like attracts like!
